Libratum was founded in 2024 by Johanna Morris. Johanna has over 17 years’ experience working in regulation in Ireland. The combination of her significant operational experience and specialist expertise in administrative and regulatory law frameworks has given Johanna unique insight into what is required of regulators, the challenges they face and the best solutions. Her experience includes working as a strategic advisor to regulators that are new to regulation and also leading on necessary change management for established regulators.
About Johanna
As a solicitor Johanna worked for many years in private practice as a legal advisor to a variety of regulators. Following this Johanna held a number of leadership roles in the Central Bank of Ireland and the Medical Council. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team and General Counsel in the Medical Council Johanna led on aspects of a change management programme with different stakeholders. She is currently a member of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal.
With a strong track record of implementing new regulatory regimes and delivering change for regulators, Johanna brings a unique perspective and skill set to solving regulatory and governance challenges. Her experience of working in regulation for so many years allows her to understand the need for regulators to take a balanced approach whilst being effective and using resources efficiently. She is solution focused with an emphasis on delivering results in a cost and time effective manner while always keeping the public interest paramount.
